Many people suffer from Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), which involves a sudden spinning feeling, which can result in nausea, vomiting, and falling. Recently, an effective, inexpensive home treatment device has been developed by ear, nose, and throat specialists at Clearwater Clinical Limited, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The device allows patients to perform the BPPV treatment maneuvers (discovered in 1992) that are normally administered by ENT specialists and trained physicians.

Medical information written and edited by practicing physicians
Unlike many medical information sites on the Internet, eMedicineHealth.com contains articles written and edited by practicing physicians. The content of this website is not designed to sell health products. The site is designed primarily for use by qualified physicians and other medical professionals, although the general public will find it useful when researching diseases and disorders.
